I just moved into my first studio apartment, and as a 22 year old who has literally never put together a piece of furniture in her life, I was a bit worried about having to assemble this by myself, (which, per the instructions, is not recommended); HOWEVER, it was so easy and didn’t take me very long at all. Maybe all self-assembly furniture is like this and I’m just unaware, but i expected every piece to have to be put together; however, many of the tricker parts of this item are already done for you, such as the drawers for instance. Great space-saving item if you’re trying to make the most of your square footage, and the stools are way studier than I had expected - I stood on top of one to test it out:)Great table, wouldn't recommend for someone who isn't patient when it comes to assembling furniture, but I love it overall. Will update if that changes.-Packaging: arrived a day early, that was a pleasant surprise! The box was on the heavier side. I'm a single woman but I was able to slide the box into my 1st floor kitchen without issue. Carrying this up a flight a stairs would've been fine for two people, otherwise you'd need a dollt. Parts were all in good condition.-Assembly: this is why this lost a star for me. There was NO labeling on any of the parts. You have to look at the instructions and determine which piece is which based on the diagrams. This made getting started very hard.Getting started and also getting the top of the table screwed into place were really hard. It probably took me 40 minutes just to line up the predrilled holes with the table legs. The package includes an Allen wrench which is fine for 90 % of the packaging but there are 4 screws that need an actual screwdriver (not included). Tip for fellow amateurs--an *electric* screwdriver really helps with those. For reference: I'm not handy but I've assembled a good amount of furniture in my time (Ikea, Target, Wayfair, etc). This took me a good three to four hours to put TOGETHER. Frustrating but WORTH IT--this was harder to assemble but way better quality than other cheapo furniture I've bought.-The finished product: it's perfect for me. The color is true to the photos. I love that this is ACTUAL WOOD instead of particle board with a wood grain wrap like so much other budget furniture is these days. The wheels work well, the drawer handles have a nice little groove so they're easier to pull out, when the table's unfolded it's the perfect size for two, and when it's folded down it is a great little island.Overall I am THRILLED with this and would recommend it to anyone in need of a small table or even just more horizontal space in the kitchen. We purchased this table set on Amazon in 2013 for our unit at the beach. When we remodeled another unit to rent out, we moved this table to the rental unit. It was well used in the beach rental as it was the only table in the unit. It was in the rental unit for five years when we loaded it into the moving van with all our other belongings to move across country. We stored it in a barn on the property we bought. When we remodeled one of the buildings on the property into a tiny house, we pulled this out of the barn to use as a kitchen table/office workspace. This little piece of furniture has more than paid for itself in its many uses. It's still very sturdy and we use it all day, every day. You can't go wrong buying this.I have now had this unit for like 10 years across 4 apartments and now in my house. Still a great buy! 1 drawer is hard to open but the rest is great! 5 stars!I wouldn't dare let a big person sitLove this little table. Put it together myself relatively easily with the included tool. Love the brakes on the tires, storage drawers and how little space it takes up. Seems like it will last a long time. The only downside is actual sitting space only where the leaf pops up. Will have to find little cushions to make it more comfy.I'm rarely blown away by products I buy. But I can't stop raving in my head about this purchase. So I may as well tell you guys about it!Assembly: it says two people are required. I did it all by myself. I'm 5'4" and 125lb and it took about 25 minutes and a lot of excitement and determination. The trick is to lay everything out like the pictures show and figure out which parts have which alphabetical letters. Then follow the instructions for which alphabetical letters go where. Don't forget to attach the 5th wheel on the moving panel! I thought it was a spare and wondered why the whole thing was rickety. Small issue - if you put all the stoppers on the drawers, they may lock in the drawers so they move together. I didn't want that so I only used the outside stoppers and not the inside ones. So the drawers move independently now. Yes!Look: looks so good. Matches my oak floors. The chairs are so cute and nested.Functionality: I use this table for everything! It's in my small NYC kitchen, and I use it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, plus my computer needs, and sorting through mail. I fold it down and roll it 2 feet from where I use it, for space saving purposes. The chairs tuck in just under the flat surface at the top, super easy. I can see myself repurposing this table quite easily in the future. It's got two small drawers which I use for paper supplies at the moment. But you could put silverware, small hardware objects, paint tubes, etc. in there. Plus, if you take out the the chairs, you'd have storage space under the table for light bulky items. I'll use if for my abstract painting projects in the future.Cost: for $125 I got a table for two, where I can feed a human other than myself, do work, read, plan out my day, work on my laptop, put my sticky notes so I don't forget stuff, what else...Well that's about it. I'm just thrilled. This table now created a little workie workie/feeding nook within my tiny kitchen and is simply a great space saving tool that is super functional and looks terrific. I couldn't be happier!First, I did not get a tester, discounted or free item. I paid full price and I am not affiliated with the company. It's made in Thailand and the table is GREAT. Great packaging (see my pictures), instructions in English, not google translate Angle-ish, no pieces missing. The package is heavy, 60lbs. I actually had to get a hand truck to carry it from the ups pickup center in my neighbourhood pharmacy back to my place. Assembly took 50 minutes. I lost ten minutes out of my own fault. I initially did not want to use the instructions. I was like: "Instructions are for p*ssies". I soon regretted my arrogance and had to unscrew half the table. The table is sturdy, the top is heavy and feel quality-like AND, this is important for me, the drawers slide easy. One regret is table I intend to put seat cushion on the bench but there is not enough clearance for me to slot back the benches, under the table, with a cushion on top. I might tweak the railing to make a workaround. This table is amazing for my small apartment! It was missing a castor wheel and Amazon told me to return the whole thing. I really didn't want to take it apart and send it back over a castor wheel, so I contracted Winsome company and they sent me a castor wheel immediately! Amazing customer service! Also did I mention that I absolutely LOVE this table! Incredibly happy with my purchase. This unit is great for my small space. I only have a few feet of counter space in my small kitchen so it's handy for meal prep. It's also nice to pull out so we can eat a meal together. It's a great space saver. However, it is not comfortable and you can't sit on the stools for more than an hour or so.I was absolutely floored by the over-all high-quality of this product. Solid-solid wood. The one area for improvement would be the wheels, which are on the cheap-side. Hoping to replace with better ones.Easy to assemble, fits nicely in a small space. I can use it to have more counter space when I cook, to eat in the morning, etc. Multi-tasking item, great quality, fair price! It is on wheels so you can move it from one spot to another.
