I use it in my craft room. I like the drawers and cupboards. I can store away lots of stuff that I dont want out and seen. And the nice wood top let's me craft without worry of it looking like it's gonna be ruined. The price was great. I love it.All the screws are super soft, like they're made of wax - it's really difficult not to strip them when putting this kitchen island together. When the screws are this soft, and the design is so you put them in at an angle - it took 12 hours to put together extra carefully to avoid stripping the screws, and one drawer doesn't go in smoothly as a result of screws going in crooked and difficult to reposition. Otherwise this island is very heavy and very sturdy, and is beautiful.BEWARE This is a real pain to assemble and it should not be. This takes two people for several steps. Pegs are either too short or too long. Long ones have to be cut. All are too loose and have to be glued and sit for a day before continuing assembly. This means that you have to glue pegs in all holes on all ends to get a side to stay together. I addition, there were not enough pegs which triggered some real ingenuity. Screws are not in correct packages, for instance, screws for hinges are not the screws in the hinge pack. Those screws are for something else. All packages are like this. Two weekends and finally together. We'll see how it holds up. This is more trouble than it's worth, especially for the money.The island looks great, but the instructions were awful and vague.This island is exactly what we were looking for. It is sturdy but also very attractive. We had a small issue and the seller looked after us immediately.The instructions were poor. Expanded views of components and how they fit together would have helped. Larger labels on pieces indicating their number and also instructions on how to manage the assembly as one progresses would have helped. It took me literally 10 hours to put it together and I'm usually decent at this. Two drawer sides had the holes drilled in the wrong places so I had to do that myself. There were some other issues too. Overall quality is ok. Provides a decent amount of storage for bits and bobs. I may buy again or I may not!Easy to install.I can't say that, materials are high quality, especially the engineered wood.During the installation, two of the connector cam lock fittings broke.They should have extras. i had to order some.Overall, it will serve the purpose, but I am not satisfied with the quality..Flimsey.No to both
